Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines

On November 8, 2013, 14 million people were affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, one of the most powerful tropical storms ever recorded. The LÉGER FOUNDATION was one of the first Canadian organizations to be operational on the ground. Its priority was to purify and distribute thousands of litres of drinkable water to the victims in Tacloban, one of the areas most ravaged by the disaster.
